Said commander warned his superiors, but was ignored.
When a hodge-podge army of mercenaries and various "noble" houses intrudes in his territory, seeking to "avenge their country's honor" as a direct result of him hunting down a slaver cartel, to rescue Illuna, while said cartel was operating (illegally) in their country, he goes to what he thinks is the top commander and warns him. He hates "heroes", especially those who boast of their selflessness, and pointedly does not want to be one. He acts in a heroic manner, purely for its own sake, not because he's expecting a reward, although he certainly wouldn't turn a reward down, and does act heroically because he enjoys doing so, or benefits from it. Though he would adamantly insist otherwise, he is this. Yuki isn't a violent individual and prefers to talk things out but he's not against using violence to quell violence. That said, he becomes a vengeful force of nature to those who harm him, his family, or his peaceful way of life. Although he won't seek out people to help, he'll help those suffering from injustice he meets by coincidence. Yuki is a selfish self-centered man who enjoys being a villain and takes care of those who have meaning to him. Usually, he wears a plain t-shirt, pants, and sandals. He has short black hair and red/black hetero-chromatic eyes. He is a little taller than the average man with a slim build. Yuki was an archdemon after reincarnated but he evolved into a demon lord.
